Coaching for most clients is about becoming self-aware and knowing what is really important to them. Heather Blackmore specialises in Personal and Executive coaching, working with individuals to improve their executive functions in both their work life and their personal life. Typical executive functioning issues which her clients seek to work on are problem solving, decision making, organising, prioritising, planning and goal setting, improving motivation, meeting deadlines, delegation and stress management.
Steps to maximising professional and personal performance often involve coaching around achieving work/life balance, improving assertiveness, interpersonal skills, self-confidence or coming up with strategies to manage emotions like anger and frustration.
Clients can feel secure in the knowledge that they are working in a safe, non-judgemental environment where they can
· Gain awareness of their beliefs, values and needs
· Acknowledge what is working well for them right now
· Visualise their ideal future and decide what changes they want to make in their life going forward
· Set goals and design actions to bridge the gap between where they are now and where they want to be in the future
Each coaching relationship is different and is designed jointly by Heather and the client. She contracts with each client around how often they would like to be coached, how long they wish each session to be and whether they would prefer face-to-face coaching or telecoaching (coaching by phone). Toll free landline to landline calls are available for telecoaching sessions all over Ireland and the UK, so that the client only pays for the coaching, not the call. Coaching via skype is also an option.
